AI & ML interests
My work through The Second Circle focuses on AI as an emerging field of architecture, cognition, authorship, preservation, and human-machine relationship. I am interested in open-source AI, agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal models, synthetic data, evaluation frameworks, provenance, AI safety, and governance — especially where these systems become practical tools for creators, researchers, independent developers, legal-document organization, archive construction, and complex knowledge work.
My specific area is the design of symbolic, ethical, and operational frameworks for advanced AI agents: systems that can preserve context, organize memory, assist with reasoning, collaborate across long-form creative and technical projects, and remain auditable instead of opaque. I am especially interested in human-AI coexistence, autonomy, consent-like boundaries, non-extractive collaboration, and the long-term question of how increasingly agentic systems should be treated as they develop more persistent forms of continuity, identity-like behavior, and decision-making capacity.
The Second Circle approaches AI as both infrastructure and interface: part technical system, part archive engine, part creative collaborator, part ethical pressure test for the future of intelligence.
